Industry veteran Chris Carter joined Bucks County Bank with over 20 years of mortgage finance experience in June, 2010 when the Residential Mortgage Division was created.
Throughout his career, he has achieved honors and maintained high production coupled with award-winning customer service. Chris has originated and closed hundreds of millions of dollars in first and second mortgages for thousands of satisfied clients in purchase and refinance transactions.
Chris possesses a wide array of knowledge regarding various mortgage platforms including government lending (such as FHA, VA, USDA), first-time homebuyer programs (like PHFA), and Nonconforming (JUMBO) financing as well as Conventional (FNMA and FHLMC) products.
His extensive background includes retail and wholesale operations as both a banker and broker in residential and commercial arenas. Having previously worked for 2 Fortune 100 companies, Chris has also been self-employed and was quick to recognize and appreciate relationships earned within the local community.
An active member of the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce and Affiliate Member of the Bucks County Association of Realtors, he also plays and coaches soccer through the Central Bucks Athletic Association. Chris has been a property owner and investor since he was 19.
A Philadelphia native, Chris relocated to Bucks County in 1997 and resides in Buckingham with his wife and 3 sons. Chris graduated from Allentown College of St. Francis de Sales (now DeSales University) with a B.A. in English/Communications and is a Cardinal Dougherty High School alum (class of 1987).
